Land Rover Defender Project Reaches Another Milestone

We’re excited as our Land Rover Defender project takes another step, fitting the boxes with batteries into the car.

Here’s what you need to know:

Dual Powerhouse: This Defender packs a double punch with a 55 kWh main battery and a 20 kWh range extender. Combined batteries give 75 kWh of pure electric potential! It can be increased to 95 kWh with a bigger battery for the range extender.

Snug Fit: Both batteries are housed in separate boxes expertly installed by LR Parts.dk Parts.

Engine Swap, EV Style: The main battery box seamlessly replaces the original combustion engine, matching its size and weight.

Precision Placement: Using the same crane that handled the hefty engine, the LR Parts team carefully positioned the battery boxes.
